I want to encourage you to donate for planting trees, as it is our cheapest defense against climate change.

Everybody knows that climate change issue is important (in the back of their mind). Until it affects you directly, you won't do anything about it. Now it's affecting almost everyone I know, from increased fires on the West Coast to escalating hurricanes on the East Coast. The reality is, it is the most important evolutionary challenge affecting our planet right now, and it is our generation's job to solve it.
