I am Vance Nall and I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when I was 15 years old. I've had the disease for 34 years.
I work very hard to control my diabetes with an Insulin Pump and Continuous Glucose monitor along with diet and exercise. The cost of diabetes is great finanically, physically and mentally. There are many diabetics that are unable to afford the medicine and supplies they need.
Team Type 1 Foundation works hard to provide patients the supplies they need. I support TT1F and will be riding 24 hours on November 14th on my trainer using an application called Zwift. It is also World Diabetes Day so I want to raise awareness of diabetes in the world today.
