My Team Type 1 Fundraising Page

Rising up to the daily challenge.

November 14th is World Diabetes Day. I will be participating in a 24 hour online bike ride with members of Team Type 1 on Zwift (a virtual bike and run training simulator). This ride will be a shared fundraising effort by the team to support those around the world affected by this disease.

We recently became aware of this great group when my 15 year old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in September. Riding a trainer for multiple hours is always a challenge but pales in comparison to the daily and lifelong challenges affecting those with diabetes. I pledge to ride a minimum of 4 hours.

Team Type 1 (TT1) was established with the goal to instill hope and inspiration for people around the world affected by diabetes. TT1 believes that with appropriate diet, exercise, treatment and technology, anyone with diabetes can achieve their dreams.

Please donate if you have the desire to support and help those affected by this disease. All donations go directly to support the Team Type 1 Foundation's efforts in helping advocate for easy and affordable access to medicines and supplies for everyone affected by diabetes.
