Dear Friends,

I am reaching out to you in an appeal to help raise money for our rowing club. Vero Beach Rowing is a nonprofit organization that has profoundly impacted my life, as well as those of my peers. We share a common massive passion for rowing with each other. It is our responsibility to raise financial support for the club, which will cover the expenses of our traveling to regattas, team equipment, and all other supplies benefitting the rowing team. Our goal as a club is to maintain affordable costs to accommodate people from all walks of life. Crew is an amazing sport that encourages teamwork, supporting a special bond among its participants. 

Rowing has impacted my life because it has created a way for our community to come together and become involved with one and other like a family. We all come from different backgrounds, but we have all ended up in the same boat to work together with trust and integrity that we all place in our crew. We all show up to practice with an attitude of FIRE that’s Ferocious, Intense, Resilient, and Everyday. This FIRE is hungry to grow into a vast inferno, motivating our team to go on not only to obtain medals, but also set personal records and make history.

To show how passionate I am to the crew on Saturday October 27th-28th our entire team will be rowing on ergometers, for twenty-four consecutive hours. The following weekend, our team will all take part in the 33rd Annual Navy SEAL Muster 5K Beach Challenge, after completing a 22,000-meter ergometer relay and conquering the Navy SEAL obstacle course.
