What inspires me?

I am grateful to work for an organization whose mission I believe in wholeheartedly, whose actions make a positive impact in the community, who supports me as an employee, and that employs some pretty awesome people! It's been 6 years and I am still so happy to be doing this work. Thanks, Swords to Plowshares!

And for anyone that doesn't know... Swords to Plowshares has been providing supportive services for homeless, low-income and at-risk veterans in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 46 YEARS! Thousands of veterans receive services each year, and I have personally witnessed some amazing successes - including the signing of a Vietnam veteran's lease on HIS FIRST APARTMENT! 

Swords to Plowshares' Veterans Day Dinner is the largest fundraiser of the year, and a huge contributor of unrestricted funds used to cover supportive services throughout the year. I know 2020 has been a year, but if you are in the position to give and feel inspired, I can attest that your money will be used efficiently.
