Animals in Canada are in a dire situation. While most people love animals and believe they should be protected, in Canada, our laws are so weak that vast majority animals are unprotected from heartbreaking cruelty and abuse. The animals who are used for food, fashion, research, entertainment, and in the commercial pet breeding industry, often suffer in silence behind closed doors.

Canada's animal protection laws are some of the worst in the western world—but Animal Justice is fighting to change that.
