Animals can suffer from neglect and cruelty behind closed doors, in silence. I support protection from suffering even for the animals that are farmed for food. I believe that we as humans are responsible to ensure that even the animals that are food for us are free from fear and pain.
Also, what an opportunity to have me be quiet for a whole day- surely some people will pay to have that happen?
