Next week I will be joining Animal Justice in court to challenge a dark law created to stop you from seeing the reality of the nightmarish life for animals used for food in Ontario.
Animal agriculture is creating 'ag-gag' laws to stop you from bearing witness to what they’re doing to our fellow animals behind the windowless walls where they confine, exploit, and kill them. The citizens of Ontario have the right to see the raw, unfiltered reality of what we are supporting, whom we are consuming, what our tax dollars are subsidizing, and the hidden suffering that our choices may be causing to others. Bill 156 - Security from Trespass and Protecting Food Safety Act - suppresses our ability to bear witness to this truth that helps us to make moral, ethical, humane, and kinder choices.
