Hayden

Hayden has Doose Syndrome. It is Myoclonic Jerking Epileptic Seizure. He has had 5 different types of Seizures since he was 3. He has his first gran mal whennhe was 3 then not even a month later he a febrile seizure. For a year and a half after that nothing that we knew about. Then when he was 5 he lost all his mobility to walk, hold onto things while he started jerking. We brought him in and as the weeks went by it got worse. Everyday and multiple times a day he was falling, unable to hold things. They ran all their test and it came back as Doose Syndrome. Hayden had Epilepsy. For many years it was uncontrolled. We were trying different meds and the meds made things worse. Eventually we would switch doctors get one a whole lot of combinations of meds and have it mostly controlled. Hayden has also had absence and simple partial seizures.
