At the age of 16 I was diagnosed with epilepsy. Over the years I learned how to live with epilepsy. I have been able to go on and live a full life, however I will take medications for it for the rest of my life to remain seizure free. My wish is that there is a cure for epilepsy so families don’t have to go through the medical problems epilepsy can bring on, or the everyday hassles when you have a break through seizure. Also bringing awareness of how to help people with epilepsy is very important, from knowing how to respond to a seizure to safety precautions are all major reasons why this walk is important to me! Thank you for thinking of donating!
