VCA Walk for the Animals

For over 32 years, the Walk for the Animals has served as the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser. By donating to the Walk, you are helping thousands of animals that come through our doors each year. Every dollar supports us as we provide veterinary care, food, shelter and much much more to every animal we see.

We are able to step in when natural disasters, like hurricanes and floods, affect not only local areas, but also across the US and its territories. We provide shelter, care, and sometimes help to find these animals new homes.

When the Envigo breeding facility in Virginia was raided and shut down, the national Humane Society stepped up to rescue 4000 beagles. The Humane Society of Broward helped out by taking many of these scared, abused animals and found them new, loving homes.
