Right now, 1 in 9 Minnesotans are food insecure. 1 in 9 people – that’s nearly 500,000 Minnesotans who don’t know where their next meal is coming from.

Hunger seems like some big, insurmountable problem, but this is a fight we can win. While hunger may not go away overnight, we have the power to create real solutions if we work together.

At Hunger Solutions Minnesota, we work with both state and federal government to advance programs that tackle hunger on the large scale. We work with food banks and shelves to distribute food on the smaller scale. We work to connect hungry people with local help. And we work with public and private sector partners to bring community resources to the table.

As the only statewide anti-hunger organization whose services reach every county of Minnesota, we are not only fighting against hunger today, but also finding long-term solutions to end hunger in the future.

How to Support Hunger Solutions this Thanksgiving: 

1. Register for the Walk to End Hunger, and join us at the Mall of America on Thanksgiving morning to give back, before giving thanks! 

2. Start a team to support Hunger Solutions, and walk with your friends and family! Register for the event, start a team, and ask your friends and family to join you at the Walk to End Hunger to help Hunger Solutions meet our goal of raising $10,000 this Thanksgiving.
