ABOUT THE WALK TO END HUNGER
The Walk to End Hunger is a peer-to-peer fundraising walk held on Thanksgiving (US) morning at the Mall of America.
Since its inception in 2008, the Walk to End Hunger has raised over $3,000,000 to help support hunger relief organizations working to eliminate hunger in the Twin Cities metro area. Last year SAP BEN Minneapolis raised over $3000 to fight hunger through the Walk to End Hunger. 100% of the net proceeds of our team, SAP Concur - BEN Minneapolis, are distributed to Hunger Solutions Minnesota.
Hunger seems like some big, insurmountable problem, but this is a fight we can win. While hunger may not go away overnight, we have the power to create real solutions if we work together.
Hunger Solutions Minnesota works with both state and federal governments to advance programs that tackle hunger on the large scale. They work with food banks and shelves to distribute food on the smaller scale. They work to connect hungry people with local help. And they work with public and private sector partners to bring community resources to the table.
As the only statewide anti-hunger organization whose services reach every county of Minnesota, they are not only fighting against hunger today but also finding long-term solutions to end hunger in the future.
