Walk & Wag and Run 2026 ○ HSHV Tiny Lions

I’m fundraising for the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV), to help save animals like Lucille! Donations are doubled by Subaru of Ann Arbor, so any size contribution makes 2X the difference. This kitten has been through more in her young life than most cats ever have to go through! X-rays showed she had a condition known as “funnel chest”, when a kitten’s sternum caves inward. This can be very dangerous as the kitten grows, because their heart and lungs may not have the space they need. Lucille’s foster reported that she had labored breathing, and HSHV know there was no time to lose. Lucille got surgery in mid-April, to place a splint and guide her sternum into the correct position as she grows. Since then, this princess has made an excellent recovery! She should live a happy, normal life, all thanks to a surgery completely funded by donations. People like us really make a difference!
