Who: Animal lovers like you!
What: Walk & Wag and Run is our largest annual fundraiser, and an unforgettable pup party! The event features a 5k race, 1 mile Fun Walk, Kids' Dash and dog festival with food trucks and dog-friendly games and activities. Sign up, fundraise for the animals, then celebrate all your hard work on event day!
Where: Rolling Hills County Park, Ypsilanti
When: Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 8am-1pm
Why: Proceeds support HSHV's life-saving programs, including cruelty investigation, wildlife rescue, fostering and adoption, veterinary care, our community pet food pantry and so much more!
How: Register as a Runner, Walker, Cat Napper or Youth!
- Runner: Includes a race bib, chipped race time, medal and dri-fit tee for the $150 fundraising milestone
- Walker: Walk the 1-mile loop anytime during the event, or just enjoy the dog festival!
- Cat-Napper: You can't attend the event, but still want to support the animals!
- Youth: Free registration for kids under 12
