Meet Ramsey!

Ramsey is Team Bank of America's Easterseals Ambassador!

Ramsey Blaine Baker is a bubbly 20 month old little boy! Between the age of 3-6 months old, Ramsey suffered a stroke that affected his right side. The stroke wasn't detected until he was 9 months old. After his parents were made aware of his prognosis they started seeking medical treatment and referred to Arkansas Children's hospital. During their visit with the Neurology department at ACH, Ramsey was diagnosed with "Right Sided Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy". Moving forward to help Ramsey continue progress with everyday life, his neurologist suggested that he begin Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy. He began his therapy journey at ACH, but later transitioned to Easterseals of Arkansas.

When Ramsey first started at Easterseals he couldn't sit up, scoot, pull himself up, roll over, or recognize his right side. In the short 6 months that Ramsey has been attending Easterseals he has progressed beyond his parents' expectations. Ramsey can now sit up without support, roll over from side to side, scoot across the floor, pick himself up, recognize his right side and walk with assistance! Ramsey's current goals are to walk without using a walker and gain strength on his right side.

Ramsey loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with his big sister Landry. He loves playing with balls and musical stuffed animals. What makes Ramsey happy is being around his family and playing with his puppy Milo!
