33 Years and counting

My fight with lupus began 33 years ago. I never heard of lupus at the time and I have learned a lot since. I feel I am very fortunate because my lupus is controlled with medication. There are so very many who are not as fortunate as I. Some have given their all and lost their battle. 

Over 5 million people is the world, over 1.5 million is the USA, over 30,000 in Wisconsin, and these numbers keep growing. There is not a cure for this dibilitating disease.
