What is the Warm Soles Night Walk?
This is not just a typical walk. It’s an experience designed to remind us of the struggles our homeless neighbors face on the coldest nights of the year. By walking together, we honor their resilience and bring awareness to their challenges while raising vital funds to provide warmth, shelter, and essentials during the harsh winter months.
How long is the walk experience?
The walk experience is a one-mile journey through the Queen's University campus.
Is the event rain or shine?
The event takes place rain or shine, reminding us that our homeless neighbors face the elements every day without a choice. By participating, you help raise critical funds to support those experiencing chronic homelessness in our community.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome on campus grounds but must be leashed at all times. Owners are responsible for cleanup and ensuring pets do not disrupt activities. Pets are not allowed inside buildings, except for registered service animals.
How much is the registration fee?
Thanks to the generosity of neighbors like you, SHC is able to provide affordable housing and support service to alleviate homelessness and human suffering in Charlotte.
