How do I get to the event?
Randall’s Island is accessible by MTA bus, car, bike, and foot. The check-in area will be located by the flagpole, which is above Icahn stadium and soccer field, and below the Randall’s Island Park Minuature Golf Course.
For easy directions to the check-in area, click this link and you will be directed to Google Maps, where you can insert your current location and choose your preferred method of transportation. Google Maps will then direct you to the flagpole.

By participating in this event, you will be doing more than just supporting your health or celebrating Earth Day's 52nd Anniversary. You'll directly support WE ACT's work to develop climate resilience for frontline communities Uptown and across the US.
Will there be a prize for top fundraising individual and top fundraising team?
Yes! Support for community based organizations is needed now more than ever. By participating and fundraising for this event, you will be doing more than just celebrating Earth Day. You'll directly support WE ACT's work to develop climate resilience for frontline communities Uptown and across the US. The fundraising deadline is 10 AM on April 25, 2026!
I haven’t registered yet. Do I still have to register and pay for this event?
Yes, there is a registration fee for this event. All proceeds go directly to support WE ACT’s crucial work in the fight for environmental justice.
I’m already registered. Now what?
Great! The next part is easy. If you're participating in the in-person event, just meet us at Randall's Island on May 1st.
How do I track my distance and time my run?
To track your distance and time your run, download Strava, a free GPS run tracking app available from Google Play and the App Store. After setting up a free account, you will be able to use the app to track your race distance and time, and share it with the WE ACT team.
