JFCS provides food to families in vulnerable food insecure situations with compassion, with empathy and with respect. We do not ask questions when someone comes to us in need of food, we give a little extra if we know the situation is exceptionally dire. Recently, one of our mobile distribution partners shared the immediate impact he sees when families at his church receive their bag of groceries - he said how that bag of groceries is more than dinner for the night, for the week, it is hope, it is care.
That is why we ride. So we can continue to share that hope with our neighbors in need.
