Please support Summit Adventure through my efforts at the 2019 Whitney Classic

My Story

I have ridden the Whitney Classic as part of a team 2 times with my dad but this year I am planning to ride all 132 miles solo and raise $5,000 to support Summit Adventure.  I am 16 years old and just started my sophomore year at Eastern Mennonite School. I currently ride for the ShenRock Mountain bike team in Harrisonburg, Virginia and have been training all summer for the fall race season.

Summit Adventure is a non-profit Christian wilderness organization that uses challenge, adventure programming, service and cultural immersion as tools to challenge people of all ages and backgrounds to a spiritual, physical, emotional and relational adventure. Funds raised will go toward Summit Adventure’s general fund, which includes programs for youth, families, adults, schools, groups and individuals with disabilities.
