A Little About Me
Cancer impactus us all in one way or another, a friend, relative, spouse getting this awful diagnosis and the fear of what may be... When Michelle was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, she couldn't bring herself to talk to me and called my late husband, Jeff to ask him to break the news, one of the worst days ever - yet months later we were celebrating together at Thanksgiving that she was doing so well and now so many years later I think of the happy times together, being so far from that dark day. Carolina Breast Friends is a home for those who need a place to land after a cancer diagnosis, somehwere they can go and learn how to feel "normal" when things are absolutley not normal. We are so fortunate here in Charlotte to have such a place in our own back yard.
Why I Said Yes to the Wig
I've been friends with Michelle Soutier for more than 35 years, we have shared our joys and sorrows along the way. What I've learned is that Michelle is always there to support EVERYONE, if there is one small thing I can do to help her with this important campaign I am all in for Michelle and all the Survivors and Thrivers! Am wearing my wiglet and carrying this QR code everywhere the month of April to help meet our goal!
Where You’ll See Me in My Pink Wig
You will find me most days at Miller Street Dance Academy, working side by side with Michelle, Ilios Noche, Harris Teeter and walking my Corgi, Heidi in my South Charlotte neighborhood.

Fun fact
These days I work with Michelle as her Personal Assistant, but we have worked together in the past, before Miller Street Dance Academy... when Michelle was a college student and I was new in town I would find a way to get her hired where-ever I was working so we could spend part of our days together.
