Breast cancer has impacted so many people—and my great grandmother was lucky enough to be one of those who had the right support to recover! Being part of this fundraiser gives me the opportunity to help make a difference for others who are going through something incredibly difficult.

Organizations like Carolina Breast Friends provide support, encouragement, and a sense of community for those facing a diagnosis—and that kind of support truly matters.

This fundraiser is extra special to our studio because our owner, Michelle, is an 18-year breast cancer survivor. Her story has shown us how life can change in an instant—but also how powerful love, support, and community can be during the hardest times.

Her story inspires us to be part of something bigger—coming together, giving back, and supporting others in a fun and meaningful way. We’re proud to help spread awareness and make a difference!

As part of this fundraiser, I’ll be wearing a pink hair extension (“wiglet”) throughout the month of April to help raise awareness and start conversations.
