Why This Matters to Me
Breast cancer has impacted so many people—whether it’s family, friends, or members of our community. Being part of this fundraiser gives me the opportunity to help make a difference for those who are going through something incredibly difficult.
Organizations like Carolina Breast Friends provide support, encouragement, and a sense of community for those facing a diagnosis—and that kind of support truly matters.
Wednesday Morning Private

Hello everybody, my name is Haden Charles Pangalos. I am 15 years old and a Ninth grade student at the Charlotte Latin School. Raising awareness and doing my part for the cancer community will always be one of my main priorities. I feel this way because cancer runs in both sides of my family. I firmly believe that cancer is a battle no one should fight alone, and this is because we are stronger when we come together. By dontating through my page to the "Wigging Out" fundraiser for the Carolina Breast Friends, you can directly help a local group of breast cancer survivors have access to the resources necesarry during the upcoming stages of their life. The Carolina Breast Friends is an organization for breast cancer survivors (anyone who has been diagonosed with breast cancer) and breast cancer thrivers (anyone living with metastatic breast cancer) where they can find resources, education, and fellowship, no matter what stage they are at in their journey. Carolina Breast Friends is an accepting enviroment and their mission is to embrace and support those impacted by breast cancer. I would be extremely grateful if you could help me reach my goal of $750 to support this amazing cause and help this wonderful group of people.
Why I Said Yes to Wiggin Out
This fundraiser is extra special to our studio because our owner, Michelle, is an 18-year breast cancer survivor. Her story has shown us how life can change in an instant—but also how powerful love, support, and community can be during the hardest times.
Her story inspires us to be part of something bigger—coming together, giving back, and supporting others in a fun and meaningful way. We’re proud to help spread awareness and make a difference!
Look For My Pink Hair
As part of this fundraiser, I’ll be wearing a pink hair extension (“wiglet”) throughout the month of April to help raise awareness and start conversations.

Fun fact
My first fun fact is that me and my family have been doing volunteer work and donating to cancer foundations since I was born! My second fun fact is that I have been dancing since I was four years old and immediately fell inlove with the sport, teamates, teachers, and enviroment as a whole!
