You Have Questions? We Have Answers.

  • Why is Women Helping Women Fund holding a digital campaign instead of the Annual Luncheon this year? Why not reschedule the Annual Luncheon?
    • Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we had to make the tough decision to cancel our Annual Luncheon this year, but we aren't letting social distancing stop the great assistance we've provided over the past 28 years. This campaign will allow funds to be raised immediately during a time when women and children in our community need help the most.

  • What is the plan for proceeds from this campaign?
    • We know women and families will still be struggling long after the immediate crisis is past. That is why we are aiming this campaign at meeting the mid- and long-term needs of women and families. We will be working with our longstanding nonprofit partners, to shape and fund strategic and timely responses.
  • I already registered for the Annual Luncheon? What is happening to my registration fee?
    • Your registration fees will be counted as a 100% tax-deductible donation toward this campaign.

  • Who do I contact if I would like a refund for the registration fee I already paid?
  • I just signed up as a fundraising individual/team. Will the original event registration I already paid count toward my fundraising goal?
    • Absolutely! Since this is something our office will need to transfer manually, we ask that you please email us at info@whwfspokane.org to let us know you would like your donation applied to your fundraising goal.

  • I was a table captain and people already signed up to be at my table. Will their registration fee count toward my fundraising goal?
    • We are able to apply the registration fee of those who signed up to be at your table to your fundraising goal.

  • I noticed there are minimum fundraising goals for individuals and teams. I don't know if I can meet the minimum goal. Can I still participate as an individual or team?
    • We will not require anyone to meet the minimum goals. The goals are just a suggestion.
    • The goal of $1,350 for fundraising individuals was chosen because it equals the amount a table generates at our Annual Luncheon.
    • The goal of $2,020 was chosen because fundraising teams have more people fundraising toward their goal.

  • I noticed that team members have personal dashboards and their own fundraising goal. Aren't we supposed to be fundraising as a team?
    • Yes, you will be fundraising as a team. However, the platform requires that all participants have a personal page with a fundraising goal. You can disregard this personal goal and instead focus on the team goal. Any donations made to the personal or team goal will apply to the overall team goal.

  • I don't want to sign up as a fundraising individual/team. Can I still donate?
    • Of course! Donations can be made here.

  • I prefer to donate with a check. Can I still donate?
    • You sure can! Please make your check out to Women Helping Women Fund and mail it to 3704 N Nevada St, Ste 201, Spokane, WA 99207. If you are contributing to a Fundraising Team or Individual goal, please include the name of the individual or team in the memo line of your check.
