and Why I am participating in Women Swimmin' for the first time
Thanks to swimming in Lake Berryessa in California with my sister in my twenties, I discovered my lifelong love of swimming, especially the thrill of open water swimming even though I can only do that in the late spring/summer in Cayuga Lake. This is my first Women Swimmin'--I wanted to participate in such a wonderful event because I love swimming in the lake and because I am grateful to hospice workers who helped my dear great-aunt Catherine Daly and my beloved cousin Jennifer Herzog Clark die with peace, love, and dignity.
