This summer I'll be swimming a one-mile open water swim in honor of my mother, Virginia Cerretani, who courageously fought a vicious brain tumor and was taken from us far too soon. I will be forever changed by her grace, determination, and capacity to love.
To the caregivers who provided excellent, dignified care, and gave us precious time near the end of her life to simply be her family, I am forever grateful.
