I'll be swimming with my colleagues from teh Cayuga Cancer Center to raise money for this valuable organization that supports so many in our community.

My mom and I swan this together in the early years of the event's life, mom remained an avid volunteer year after year, from swimming to folding shirts. Her joy surrounding the event was palpable. I'm swimming in her memory.

I'm a little scared as its been a long time since I've swam this far, but I'll think of Ruth M. Potts​ and her strength to keep me moving...maybe that is a good analogy for what hospicare can do, it can lift you up even when our physical life is fleeting...
