World Trivia Night
Since 1995, the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa has been hosting World Trivia Night. With over 1,000 participants competing in teams of 10, this is a unique event you don’t want to miss.
Join us at the Shaw Centre for 10 rounds of exciting trivia, great food, entertainment and a fun-filled evening to remember. Expect to compete for incredible prizes, including "Best Team Theme" prizes, raffles, 50/50, live auctions and more!

What You Need to Know To Participate:
* No up-front registration fees *
Your team captain must sign-up your team, with a fun team name, and commit to one of the following fundraising options:
Option 1: Champion Team minimum fundraising goal of $1,600 (early $1,500 before September 24th)

- 6 Team Entries (minimum) into the Team Pledge Prize Draws
- For each additional $250 raised, 1 Entry into the Team Pledge Prize Draws

- Eligible to win Top Fundraising Team Prizes

Option 2: Regular Team minimum fundraising goal of $650 ($550 early bird before September 24th)
Regular Team Benefits:
- 2 Team Entries (minimum) into the Team Pledge Prize Draws
- For every additional $250 raised, 1 entry into the Team Pledge Prize Draws
- Eligible to win first place Trong Nguyen Memorial Trophy (only Champion Teams are eligible to win the Top Trivia Team Prizes)
- Eligible to Win Top Fundraising Team Prizes
Food + Beverages:
Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase during the event from the bar, concession stands and snack carts. (No pre-ordered food items this year.)
- Please Note: The Shaw Centre is cashless - methods of payment are google pay, apple pay, tap and go, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Union Pay, JCB and Interac.
Deadlines:
- Sunday, September 24, 12:00 am - Early Bird Registration Closes
- Friday, October 20 - The Minimum Fundraising Committement Must be Submitted (you can keep fundraising after that tho!)
- Monday, October 23, 5:00 pm - Registration Closes
- Friday, October 26, 6:00 pm - Final Fundraising Submissions for Eligibility for one of three Top Fundraising Prizes
