June 20-26

   THREE short stories revised for publication, AND

     TEN shorts submitted so far this week!

June 27-July 3

    ONE additional story revised for publication, back up to THIRTEEN on submission after a few rejections came in!

July 4-10

    Up to SIXTEEN stories submitted for the write-a-thon; had a couple rejections in so I only have 12 stories out right now. Made some excellent progress on worldbuilding in prep to revise a novelette.

July 11-17

  One more rejection, one submission, lots of revision work on novelette, which is now .... a 25K novella. 

July 18-24

  More rejections (down to nine out) and a *possible* sale! Almost finished with novella revisions. HOME STRETCH NOW....

July 25-31

   Okay. At least six short stories revised, one of them a novella (which will need another pass after it sits for a month, but I'm okay with that.) I've made improvements to a total of 22 stories (including one I decided to permanently shelve) over the course of the write-a-thon, and drafted three. Took two classes and listened to all four of the offered craft talks. 

I'll do more work on Saturday, but I'm saying here, Friday nght, that this event has been more than successful for me, personally. Thank you, Write-A-Thon!

Write a story to your prompt:

Give Clarion West $10 and give me a prompt and I'll write you a story (probably flash fiction). 

Tuckerization:
I name a character in a story after you. $15 donation.

You own a story for a year:
$30 to $75, since that's about what I'd get for a story. You'd own the story for a year; you can publish it (WITHOUT CHANGES) on your blog or Facebook page or whatever for a year. After that rights revert. We'll talk about what story you want; I got limits.

ORIGINAL GOAL:
 $50, and I put in 20. I'll match whatever people donate up to $100, but you should really search out your favorite authors on here and donate to their fundraisers!
