Keystone Community Services' Meals on Wheels program serves an average of 75 seniors and people with disabilities each day, providing a hot, healthy meal and a friendly visit from our volunteer drivers. Over the course of our program, we have helped over 300 people remain in their homes for over five years than they would have been able to otherwise. Our clients are ages 51 to 104, men and women, veterans and civilians. Many of our clients are food insecure and rely on our service to maintain a healthy diet and would otherwise turn to microwaveable meals or bologna sandwiches. For nearly 40% of our clients, their delivery driver is the only person they see in a given day, so not only are our meals a source of food, they're a source of social interaction.
