The Walk to End Hunger is a great way to start your holiday off right - giving back before you give thanks!
In the aftermath of the civil unrest in the Twin-Cities and the COVID-19 pandemic, it is imperative that this year's Walk to End Hunger fully commits to two ideals. One, to end food insecurity for all Minnesotans. And two, provide a community table that reflects our remarkably diverse nature and honors the rich heritage of all Minnesotans. By doing so, we have the opportunity to reset our community table, where all mouths are fed, and where all voices are heard.
Since it's inception in 2008, the Walk to End Hunger has raised over $3,000,000 to help support hunger relief organizations working to eliminate hunger in the Twin Cities metro area. 100% of the net proceeds are distributed to our partner organizations.
The Walk to End Hunger is presented by the Minnesota Hunger Initiative (formerly the Twin Cities Hunger Initiative), a collaboration of hunger relief partner agencies that have developed a definitive plan to eliminate hunger in the Twin Cities and across the state of Minnesota.
