Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! As most of you know March 10, 2015, changed our family dynamic forever. Our beloved nephew, Forrest Kingsbury Werner IV, chose to end his life. Tragically in May 2016, his brother, Hayden Charles Werner ended his life as well. Both of these young men were accomplished athletes, well respected lifeguards, well educated and loved by family and friends.
Since 2016, we have been raising funds to support With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation’s suicide prevention school and community based programs, community outreach efforts, and life-saving critical crisis intervention. If our efforts help even one family to not experience this heartbreak, it is worth it.
You can register to walk with us either in person or virtually. It is free and we are part of Team Werner. We hope you will make a donation in any amount. From time to time there is matching day where your donation is doubled. The next one is Valentine's Day, February 14.
