WHY YOU SHOULD DONATE!!

1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy during some point in their lifetime. Also epilepsy is more common than multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and Parkinson's combined BUT receives the least amount of funding. Many people with epilepsy have no known cause and some may not even respond to treatment. There is still so much to learn.

My mom, La' Wanda, has epilepsy and it is something she will have to live with for the rest of her life. In addition, my nephew Camron was diagnosed with Benign Rolandic Epilepsy a year ago and has been seizure free since starting treatment. There is a cure out there....it just needs to be found.
