Cecily was diagnosed with epilepsy at 2 years old. At 4 it was specified as intractable temporal lobe epilepsy. She has a rare genetic disorder called DYRK1A syndrome which is the cause of her epilepsy. On August 4th 2019 she had her worse seizure to date. It was a generalized tonic clonic that lasted over an hour. We are walk in honor of Cecily. She is a warrior that never gives up. We are walking to raise money to support new research to treat this beast of a disorder. Please join us.
