The Capital Area Humane Society's Walk for the Animals is our second largest fundraiser fo the year. October 5, 2019 marks our 26th annual Walk for the Animals where 500+ owners and their pups will participate in a fun-filled day while raising money for homeless pets at Capital Area Humane Society. 

The Walk features many festivities for the entire family to enjoy, including pet contests, a doggy obstacle course, scavenger hunt, demos, vendors, raffles, and more. The scenic 1-mile Walk kicks off at 12 p.m.

Our goal is to raise $85,000 for the animals, and we need your help to do it! Being involved in the Walk sends a strong message that you (your company and/or employees) care about the health and welfare of the animals in our community.

The Capital Area Humane Society Walk for the Animals is a unique opportunity to promote your business, build good will by associating yourself with a wonderful non-profit organization, and gain recognition with an audience receptive to your services, products, and message.
