The Melitas family has been impacted by preeclampsia as Julie was born early from her mother's preeclampsia then she had it with both her babies. Both babies were born tiny, mighty and strong! We named our team Ray of Hope because so many babies die and so many women die from preeclampsia.... we are the ray of hope because WE LIVED.
