Did you know, 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in her lifetime and 1 in 4 women will experience some form of domestic violence? These aren’t just women; they are our sisters, wives, mothers, aunts, colleagues, friends, and loved ones. Mary Kay Ash Foundation believes in creating a world where women are healthy, safe, and empowered. Our two-fold mission - funding cures for cancers affecting women and ending domestic violence - is made possible through charitable donations from our invaluable sales force and their loyal customer base and through fundraising events like this that help raise funds and awareness.

Every runner (or walker) has a reason. ♡

Some walk as friends and family of loved ones who have sadly lost the battle to cancer or domestic violence. 

Some come as survivors of the battles waged and won, walking to spread hope and encouragement to those still fighting these battles. 

Some come as warriors, still in the midst of the fray, but willing to step out in faith and bravery to tell the enemy that they are still here and they are not giving up!

But we all come to walk as SISTERS united together for the cause because this isn’t just a race — it’s a fight for a future free of cancer and domestic violence!
