Why I Walk

I walk in support of a dear friend of mine and all the other mommas out there suffering from preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders during pregnancy and even postpartum ! For those that don't know, these disorders are often associated with a drastic increase in blood pressure that can cause a vast array of complications and even death. So... I walk to raise awareness and support in hopes to one day find a cure to save all the mamas and their babies from life-threatening hypertensive disorders.
