Hearing the words "we found a mass" 2 weeks after our 2 year olds birthday are words that will forever be embedded in my memory. Our daughter, Ada Collins, was diagnosed with an extensive bilateral optic pathway glioma, a brain tumor effecting her vision, on November 4, 2022. She endured 3 surgeries on December 13, 2022 and was then hospitalized for a couple of days at VCU CHoR. From that first hospitalization to now, 28 months into active treatment, the ASK team has been there and provided for us in more ways than I can count. We are so grateful to be able to do what we can to give back and support them just as they have supported us and so many other ASK kids and families.
