Thank you for visiting my Walk for the Animals fundraising page!

For over 34 years, the Walk for the Animals has served as the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser. By donating to the Walk, you are helping thousands of animals that come through their doors each year. Every dollar supports them as they provide veterinary care, food, shelter and much much more to every animal they see.

We hope you will consider donating to the Walk and supporting the tremendous work of the Humane Society of Broward County.

P.S. This picture of Smokey was taken almost 17yrs ago and he's still going strong :)  

At 3 months old he was brought to the shelter and left there with a traumatic abdominal hernia.  
After having his hernia surgically repaired, I took him home to recuperate from his ordeal.  He never left - 
failed foster!  He is just a sweetheart, very patient with our 2 young grandkids, loves watching TV all
stretched out beside me, competing for my affection with our other "failed" foster, our little 12 yrs old Maltese
Ziggy.
