Thank you for visiting my Walk for the Animals fundraising page!

For over 34 years, the Walk for the Animals has served as the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser. By donating to the Walk, you are helping thousands of animals that come through their doors each year. Every dollar supports them as they provide veterinary care, food, shelter and much much more to every animal they see.

Most don't realized that the HSBC isn't affliated with the larger Humane Society of the United States and that private fundraising is a large source of the required monies needed to do what they do. I walk for the animals because HSBC helped me find my doggy soulmate Molly. R.I.P.

There are so many great things that HSBC does beyond providing a place for dogs, cats, rabbits and sometimes other animals (like hamsters), such as working with women and distress, providing food to the homeless with pets, helping veterans with post trauma stress, rescuing animals from other shelters and locations needing help, providing much needed surgery or medical attention to animals in need and much more. The reach of HSBC is beyond the border of broward county. Please consider donating to them even if you don't live in Broward. I am pretty sure your local community has likely worked with HSBC in some capacity.
