Wellness House provides complete cancer care - every step of the way. Whether you have cancer, or you are caring for a friend or family member who is diagnosed with cancer, all are welcome at Wellness House. More than 520 programs are provided each month, both online and in person, to improve physical and emotional well-being and give people with cancer a support network like no other. 

Because of the Walk, and the generous donations of individuals and businesses, everything at Wellness House is provided free of charge, providing one less thing to worry about when struggling with a cancer. That's why I have joined the Walk and why I ask you to join me in giving what you can to support people in the fight for their lives.

My cancer journey began 2/13/2021 with my diagnosis of breat cancer. Hearing those words, "you have cancer" were the scariest words I had ever heard. How was I going to traverse this terrifying process? Where could I find people who have been through this before and have insight? Wellness House. I attended a support group that was my safe space where I could share my fears, my stumbling blocks, and my triumphs while supporting others doing the same. I looked forward to those meetings each week because I knew I would come away from them feeling uplifted and ready to continue my battle. I went through a bilateral mastectomy, expanders, and reconstruction with the support of my amazing group as well as my wonderful family and friends. My journey would have been so difficult without Wellness House (I can't imagine it to be honest). I am ever grateful and so I want to do all I can to ensure that this amazing resource is available for others as time goes on. This is why I ask for your donations.
