My own personal experience with Cancer is well known amoungst many. I had Hodgkins Lymphoma a couple times. I started with Chemo and was in remission and then 6 months later, it reared its ugly head again. I went through a stem cell transplant and that did not put me in remission. I was lucky enough to get Proton Therapy through CDH for targeted treament. I have been in remission for 10 years now!

My mother was not so lucky. She was diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma and after a 6 year battle, lost that battle in April of 2024. My parents were heavily involved in Wellness House groups and found comfort in being able to share with people who were going through similiar paths. My mom wasn't very open with those outside Wellness House about her journey so this was a great outlet for her.

We have many friends who also utilize Wellness House services still and want to be able to keep that support going for them and myself. 

Wellness House provides complete cancer care - every step of the way. Whether you have cancer, or you are caring for a friend or family member who is diagnosed with cancer, all are welcome at Wellness House. More than 520 programs are provided each month, both online and in person, to improve physical and emotional well-being and give people with cancer a support network like no other. 

Because of the Walk, and the generous donations of individuals and businesses, everything at Wellness House is provided free of charge, providing one less thing to worry about when struggling with a cancer.
