2026 Seattle Optimism Walk for Parkinson's
Join us for the APDA Optimism Walk!
Walkers will come together nationwide in 2026 to step forward in support of all people affected by Parkinson's disease. Your fundraising dollars at the Seattle Optimism Walk for Parkinson's will go directly to the local community, expanding programs and services to help more people with Parkinson's disease live life to the fullest, and funding cutting-edge research to find better treatments and ultimately a cure.

The walk route is approximately 1.5 miles round trip. Participants will walk about 0.75 miles along the Ship Canal Trail before reaching the turnaround point and returning to the APDA parking lot. Walkers are welcome to turn around at any point along the route, allowing them to participate at a distance that is comfortable for them.

Ready to take your fundraising to the next level?
The top fundraiser will win two Seattle Seahawks tickets, and one additional participant who raises $500 or more toward their 2026 Seattle Optimism Walk campaign will be randomly selected to win another pair! Both winners will receive two tickets in Section 105, just 13 rows from the action!
How to Enter:
Raise $500 or more toward your Seattle Optimism Walk fundraising campaign to be entered into the drawing. The top fundraiser and drawing winner will be announced at the Seattle Optimism Walk on Saturday, September 19. Winners must be present at the event to claim their prize.
Eligibility: This challenge is open to Seattle Optimism Walk participants. Our National Fundraising Leader, Jake Miller, is not participating in the challenge.
Fundraising Deadline: Donations must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18 to qualify.
Prize Details and Restrictions: Tickets are non-transferable and are valid for the 2026–2027 season, subject to availability and applicable blackout dates. Please contact APDA for complete prize details and restrictions.
