Everyone is affected by cancer and I'm no stranger,my life has been touched by cancer from a young age right up to the present day.
From the death of my own father when I was 16, to the passing of my uncle Jerry in 2022, to my step-father Bruce's death just 2 years ago, I have been around cancer and seen it first hand for more than 1/2 of my life.
I have spent a few years volunteering in the medical tents and last year was inspired by a few people to join up and ride this year.
im no professional racer, I don't own a fancy bike that has click in shoes, Im not racing to win. Im In it to raise money for a great cause that gives back so much to the community it serves.
LETS be honest, I'll be rolling over the finish line, and it probably won't be on 2 wheels, LOL so pleas help me reach my $400 fundraising goal :)

The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.
