I'm participating in the Dempsey Challenge because cancer has touched the lives of so many people I love. Over the years, I've watched multiple friends and family members face diagnoses, treatments, uncertainty, and incredible strength. Their courage has inspired me, and this challenge is my way of honoring them while helping others who are on the same journey.

Every mile I complete is for those who have fought, those who are still fighting, and the families and friends who stand beside them every step of the way. No one should have to face cancer alone, and organizations like the Dempsey Center provide compassionate support, resources, and hope when they're needed most.

The Dempsey Challenge is the premiere fundraising event for the Dempsey Center, a nonprofit founded by actor Patrick Dempsey. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer by easing the side effects of cancer by improving their physical, emotional, social, familial, and functional well-being at any point in their cancer journey--all at no cost.
