Orange Dragons Against Cancer Team is excited to come together for the 18th consecutive year to participate in the Dempsey Challenge, a fundraiser supporting the Dempsey Center. Founded by actor and Maine native, Patrick Dempsey, the Dempsey Center's mission is to make life better for people impacted by cancer. I think we have one of the most enthusiastic, passionate, dedicated and generous teams with a focus on having a good time and raising as much money as we possible can for the Dempsey Center. All of our lives have been impacted by cancer. We participate in support of people in treatment now, those who have finished treatment and are navigating their 'new normal', and in memory of lives lost to this wretched illness. This cause drives us, and we need your support to make a difference! Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and directly impacts of all of the FREE progams that are offered at The Dempsey Center.
