On November 21st, 2026 I’ll be lining up to run my second half marathon in Philadelphia (who would have thought I would ever run one, let alone two)! But this year, I’m not just running for myself; I’m running to support Canine Companions! 

Canine Companions provides expertly trained service dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities—at absolutely no cost to the recipients. It costs tens of thousands of dollars to raise and train just one of these incredible dogs, and your donation directly helps "unleash the potential" of a person waiting for their perfect match.

The funds I raise running the half marathon help magnify the impact of Dogfest D.C. 2026, a Canine Companions signature event.
