Hi everyone!
I am so excited to share that I will be running my first ever marathon this fall in the Philadelphia Marathon on behalf of Canine Companions!
If you’ve ever met me, you’ve probably met one of my puppies too. I started raising in 8th grade and have somehow had a dog with me through high school, college, and now medical school.
What started in Massachusetts for me has continued in Pennsylvania. This organization has given me lifelong friendships and some of the most meaningful experiences. I’ve been lucky enough to raise Georgia (skilled companion), Nashua (facility dog), Holland (fabulous flunky), Mozart (service dog), Scout (service dog), Peabody (PTSD service dog—featured in Netflix’s Inside the Mind of a Dog), Rawlings (service dog), and now Clapton.
I am beyond thrilled to be able to give back to a community and organization that has meant so much to me for so long especially while I’m still in school. I would be so grateful for any support, big or small. 100% of donations go directly to Canine Companions and help continue the life-changing work they do.
